Lake Paracota (possibly from Aymara phara dry,[2] quta lake,[3] "dry lake") is a lake in Peru located in the Tacna Region, Tarata Province, Susapaya District.[4] It is situated at a height of about 4522m (14,836feet). Paracota lies south of the larger Lake Vilacota.
