Lake Inman is a small lake in McPherson County, Kansas, United States. It is located 2.5miles northeast of the city of Inman. With a surface area of approximately, it is the largest natural lake in the state.[1] It was named for frontiersman and author Henry Inman, who wrote articles about fishing that prompted Kansas legislation.[2] Lake Inman is part of the McPherson Valley Wetlands, a disconnected complex of wetlands important for migrating waterfowl.
