Lady with a Cat explained
Lady with a Cat (Russian: Дама с кошкой|Dama s koshkoy) is a painting by Russian artist Nikolai Yaroshenko, painted in the 1880.[1]
Portrait of Elizaveta Platonovna Yaroshenko (wife of her brother, Vasily Yaroshenko).[2]
It is on display at the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts, where in 1919 it was transferred from the Stepanovskoye estate, ancestral to Elizaveta Yaroshenko (née Stepanova).[3]
