La Saunière (in French pronounced as /la sonjɛʁ/; Occitan (post 1500);: La Saunièra) is a commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France.
An area of farming and forestry comprising the village and a few small hamlets situated just 5miles southeast of Guéret at the junction of the D942 and the D17 roads.
