La Ferrière-aux-Étangs (in French pronounced as /la fɛʁjɛʁ o.z‿etɑ̃/) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.

Geography

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Sainte-Anne, La Noé, Les Landes, Les Castors, Le Gué Plat and La Ferrière-aux-Étangs.[2]

It is 1090ha in size. The highest point in the commune is 302m (991feet).[3]

The commune is within the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park.

The Vee river is the major watercourse running through this area.
