La Bouëxière (in French pronounced as /la bwɛksjɛʁ/ or in French pronounced as /la bwɛsjɛʁ/;) is a commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France.
It is situated 19km (12miles) from Rennes in the forest of Rennes.
Its mayor is Stéphane Piquet, who was re-elected in 2020.[2]
Inhabitants of La Bouëxière are called Bouexièrais in French.
La Bouëxière is twinned with Wingrave in England and Hambrücken in Germany.[3]
