Kyle Hausmann-Stokes Explained

Kyle Hausmann-Stokes is an American film director and screenwriter.^[1] He directed his feature directorial debut with My Dead Friend Zoe (2024).^[2] The feature is based on his short film Merit x Zoe.^[3] Hausmann-Stokes also directed the documentary Now, After... (2011).^[4]

For his work in My Dead Friend Zoe, Hausmann-Stokes won the South by Southwest Narrative Spotlight Audience Award.^[5] He also served in the United States Army during the Iraq War and won a Bronze Star Medal.^[6]
