Kupinsky District (ru|Ку́пинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal[1] district (raion), one of the thirty in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 5809km2.[2] Its administrative center is the town of Kupino. Population: 31,199 (2010 Census); The population of Kupino accounts for 47.7% of the district's total population.
Lakes Krasnovishnevoye and Bolshoy Bagan are located in the district.[3] [4]
