Kundara railway station (station code:KKZ) is an NSG–6 category Indian railway station in Madurai railway division of Southern Railway zone.[1] It serves Kottarakkara, located in Kollam district of the Indian state of Kerala.[2] [3]
Kundara railway station has gained significance because of proximity to Kundara Ceramics Limited, Kollam Technopark, Aluminium Industries Limited (ALIND), Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Co. Ltd. (KEL), Lakshmi Starch Ltd., etc. All the trains passing through stop at the station.[4] [5]
