Kumbotso is a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Kumbotso. It has an area of 158 km and a population of 409,500 based on the 2016 population projection census.[1] [2]

Climate

In Kumbotso, the dry season is partly cloudy, the wet season is oppressive and mostly cloudy, and the weather is hot all year round. The average annual temperature fluctuates between 54°F and 102°F; it is rarely lower or higher than 49°F or 106°F. The hot season, which runs from March 16 to May 21, lasts for 2.1 months and with daily highs that average more than 98°F.
