Kumbhir-class tank landing ship explained

Kumbhir-class landing ships are medium amphibious warfare vessels of the Indian Navy.[1]

Service history

The last of the 3 remaining ships Cheetah, Guldar and Kumbhir are slated to be decommissioned on 12 January 2024 after 40 years of service.[2]
