Kristina Gurung (Nepali: क्रिस्टिना गुरुङ, born on December 7, 1997, in Kathmandu, Nepal)[1] is a Nepalese actress and model. Prem Geet 3 is made on a budget of NRs. 4 crore, making it one of the most expensive Nepali film;[2] the film was initially scheduled to release on April 10, 2020, and then rescheduled to February 25, 2021. However, both releases were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic's aftermath shutting many cinemas in the country.[3] [4]
Gurung is known for her role in Prem Geet 3, with Pradeep Khadka.[5] [6]
She was born on December 8, 1997, in Kathmandu, Nepal. She completed her primary education at Sarvodaya School in Chitwan, Nepal. She then completed her schooling at Kantipur English High School in Kathmandu. After teaching, she pursued her bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, U.S.
In 2019, Gurung was finalized to feature as the upcoming Nepali film ‘Prem Geet-3 lead character. She made her acting debut in the Nepali movie “Prem Geet 3” in 2022. In September 2022, she appeared in the Indo-Nepali film “Prem Geet 3”. The movie was directed by Chhetan Gurung and Santosh Sen and starred Pradeep Khadka and Kristina Gurung in the lead roles.[7]
