Krasninsky District (Russian: Кра́снинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the eighteen in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 980km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Krasnoye. Population: 15,728 (2002 Census); The population of Krasnoye accounts for 27.2% of the district's total population.
