Kovčín is a municipality and village in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 90 inhabitants.

Kovčín lies approximately 25km (16miles) east of Klatovy, 41km (25miles) south-east of Plzeň, and 95km (59miles) south-west of Prague.

History

The first written mention of Kovčín is from 1551, when it was part of the Zelená Hora estate.[2]
