Kotokel (Russian: Котокель) is a rural locality (a settlement) in Pribaykalsky District, Republic of Buryatia, Russia. The population was 145 as of 2010.[2] There is 1 street.

Geography

Kotokel is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Kotokel, 7.5km (04.7miles) southwest of the Turka River mouth. The lake is separated from the Baikal Lake shore by a 2km (01miles) wide stretch of land.[3]
