Current status

The Konetsgorskaya forestry railway's first line was constructed in 1942, in the area of Vinogradovsky District, Arkhangelsk Oblast from the village Rochegda.[2] The total length of the Konetsgorskaya narrow-gauge railway at the peak of its development exceeded 153km (95miles), of which 80km (50miles) is currently operational. The railway operates scheduled freight services from Rochegda, used for forestry tasks such as the transportation of felled logs and forestry workers.[3] In 2015, repairs are being made to the track.[4]
