Kolyshleysky District (Russian: Колышле́йский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Penza Oblast, Russia. It is in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1685km2.[3] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Kolyshley. Population: 26,187 (2010 Census); The population of Kolyshley accounts for 31.7% of the district's total population.
