Klaukkala Library (Finnish: Klaukkalan kirjasto; Swedish: Klövskog bibliotek) is a public library of the town of Klaukkala, located in the Nurmijärvi municipality in Uusimaa, Finland.

History

The library was originally founded as one of the Nurmijärvi municipality's district libraries in 1934. The library has been operating in its current location since 2005, before which it was located in the same building as the primary school of Klaukkala.[1]

Collection and services

The library's collections include books, board and console games, music CDs, magazines and movies. To borrow, customer need a Ratamo library card. Residents from out of town can also get a library card.[2]

Customers have also access to computers, a scanner, a copier and a color printer. There is a charge for printing and copying, but there is no need a library card to use the devices themselves.[2]

The library also includes two exhibition spaces: the Tyyne exhibition wall and the Toivo gallery.[2] [3] [4]
