Kitasatospora Explained
Kitasatospora is an Actinobacteria genus in the family Streptomycetaceae. The genus name comes from Shibasaburo Kitasato, a Japanese bacteriologist.
Phylogeny
The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[1] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)[2]
