Kimfly Alpin Explained

The Kimfly Alpin (Alpine) is a Slovenian single-place paraglider that was designed in collaboration with Michaƫl Nessler and was produced by Kimfly of Vodice. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development

The Alpin was designed as a mountain descent glider. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres.[1]

Variants

Alpin 24
  • Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 10.61NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 24.2m2, 39 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 55to. The glider model is Slovenian certified.[1]
    Alpin 27
  • Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 11.21NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 27.3m2, 39 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 65to. The glider model is Slovenian certified.[1]
