The film will premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it will be competing for the Golden Lion.[3]

Latin American distribution rights for Kill the Jockey were acquired by Star Distribution in August 2024. The film will debut theatrically in Argentina on 26 September 2024 and will later be available to stream in Latin America on Disney+.[6]
