Kiknursky District (Russian: Ки́кнурский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1680km2. Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Kiknur. Population: 13,228 (2002 Census); The population of Kiknur accounts for 50.7% of the district's total population.
