Kickxellomycotina Explained

Kickxellomycotina is a fungus grouping.^[1] In the subkingdom of Zoopagomyceta .^[1]

The name was changed from "Harpellomycotina", because "Kickxellomycotina" had an older stem.^[2] It came from the genus Kickxella, named after Jean Kickx.^[3]

Orders include Asellariales, Kickxellales, Dimargaritales, and Harpellales.
