Kickxellomycotina Explained

Kickxellomycotina is a fungus grouping.[1] In the subkingdom of Zoopagomyceta .[1]

The name was changed from "Harpellomycotina", because "Kickxellomycotina" had an older stem.[2] It came from the genus Kickxella, named after Jean Kickx.[3]

Orders include Asellariales, Kickxellales, Dimargaritales, and Harpellales.
