Khorog Airport (Russian: Аэропорт «Хорог»; Tajik: Фурудгоҳи Хоруғ), is an airport serving Khorugh (also spelled Khorog), a city in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province in Tajikistan.

Facilities and aircraft

The airport resides at an elevation of 6700feet above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 16/34 with an asphalt surface measuring 1840mx49mm (6,040feetx161feetm). Aga Khan Foundation has plans to build a new runway at the airport.[2]
