Khawzar (Burmese: ခေါဇာမြို့; also spelt Khawsa[2]) is a town located in Mawlamyine District, Mon State of Myanmar. It is also a sub-township in Ye Township. Khawsa lies on the Khawsa Chaung about 5km (03miles) from the coast of the Andaman Sea.[3] It is protected from the sea by a 259m (850feet) hill and the 860m (2,820feet) Mount Pawdaing rises to the east.
