Khaunie Explained
Khaunie (pronounced as //kʰaʊ³³niɛ̯³³//) is a shawl traditionally worn by Khiamniungan women. The khaunie has a black or white background with green or red lines in length.[1] [2] Historically, the khaunie was sometimes used as a wrap skirt.[3]
