Once Upon a Time in Iran (Persian: خاتون |Khatoon) is an historical romance television series. Created by Tina Pakravan.[1] [2] The first episode of this series was released on Namava on August 9, 2021.[3] [4] The series stars Negar Javaherian, Ashkan Khatibi, Mirsaeed Molavian and Babak Hamidian.[5] [6]
The series centers on an Iranian Army family living in the northern part of Imperial State of Iran whose life changed during the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran in 1941.
