Kharkhari Lake (Urdu: {{Nastaliq|خرخڑئی جھیل), also known as Kharkhari Danda (Pushto; Pashto: {{Nastaliq|خرخڑئی) in Pashto, is an alpine glacial lake located in the Gabral Valley to the north of Kalam Valley in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.[1]

Tourism

Kharkari Lake is located approximately 45 kilometres from Kalam Valley and 23 kilometres from the Utror Gabral area. This body of water separates Swat from Chitral.[2]

Kharkhari Lake has become a popular summer destination for tourists.[3] Due to its increase in popularity, efforts to preserve Kharkhari Lake are underway.
