Kentucky Party Explained
The Kentucky Party is a registered political party in the U.S. State of Kentucky, founded in 2024 by former Democrats and Republicans to give independent candidates a ballot line in statewide and local elections.[2] [3]
Presidential nominees
2024
The party nominated Jill Stein of the Green Party for president, with pro-Palestine activists including Violet Olds, an uncommitted delegate at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, announcing support for the nomination. Her running mate Butch Ware will not appear on the ballot, instead Florida activist and an advisor to Stein, Samson LeBeau Kpadenou, will appear as the party's vice presidential nominee.[5]
