Voting were held on 1st June 2024 in 7th phase of Indian General Election. Counting of votes was on 4th June 2024.[4] In 2024 election, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Baijayant Panda defeated Biju Janata Dal candidate Anshuman Mohanty by a margin of 66,536 votes.

2019

In 2019 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Anubhav Mohanty defeated Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Baijayant Panda by a margin of 1,52,584 votes.

2014

In 2014 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Baijayant Panda defeated Indian National Congress candidate Dharanidhar Nayak by a margin of 2,09,108 votes.[5]

2009

In 2009 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Baijayant Panda defeated Indian National Congress candidate Ranjib Biswal by a margin of 1,27,107 votes.
