Kelluyo (Aymara Q'illuyu, q'illu yellow, uyu corral, "yellow corral") is one of seven districts of the Chucuito Province in Peru.[1]

Geography

One of the highest elevations of the district is Wila Nasa at approximately 4200m (13,800feet). Other mountains are listed below:[2]

Ethnic groups

The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Aymara descent. Aymara is the language which the majority of the population (84.47%) learnt to speak in childhood, 14.50% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).[3]
