Katrina Peebles is a philanthropist[1] and principal and creative director of the Peebles Corporation.[2] [3]
In the early 1990s, Katrina Peebles led the Peebles Corporation's real estate tax appeal division. By the mid-1990s, following the launch of Peebles Atlantic Development Corporation, she became involved in preparing responses to requests for proposals and overseeing marketing efforts for mixed-use developments in Florida.[4]
In her role as creative director, Peebles has been an integral part of the creative process of several of the Peebles Corporation’s projects, including the $9 million restoration of The Bath Club in Miami Beach.[5] [6]
In September 2011, President Barack Obama appointed Peebles to the President’s Advisory Committee on Arts for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.[7]
In 2020, Peebles purchased a house at 2691 Sheltingham Drive in Wellington for $1.9 million. After completing renovations, she sold the property six months later for $4.1 million, according to property records. In June 2024, Peebles sold another house at 2650 Sheltingham Drive in the Palm Beach Polo & Country Club for $6.2 million. She had bought the property from Johnson & Johnson heiress Alison Firestone Robitaille for $3.1 million in January and renovated the 5,900-square-foot house before finding a buyer within six months.
Peebles has also served on the boards of CARE Elementary School in Miami and the Mission Society of New York City.[8]
Katrina Peebles graduated from the University of Colorado in 1985[9] and married Don Peebles in 1992. They have two children: Donahue III, a Columbia University graduate who now works as Executive Vice President at the Peebles Corporation, and Chloe, who is a top equestrian competitor.[10]
