Karagaily (Kazakh: Қарағайлы) is a settlement in Karkaraly District, Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan. It is the administrative center of the Karagaily Municipal Administration (KATO code - 354863100).[1] Population: [2]

Geography

Karagaily lies in the valley of the Taldy river, 5km (03miles) to the west of its banks. It is located 17km (11miles) to the northeast of the district capital Karkaraly.[3] [4]

Karagaily is a mining town and was the head of the now abolished Taldy District.[5]
