Kara Dansky Explained

Kara Dansky is an American women's rights activist, public speaker, writer, consultant, and gender critical feminist who is advocates for protecting women and girls on the basis of sex in law and throughout society by opposing transgender rights. She is the president of the American chapter of the anti-trans organzation, Women's Declaration International. From 2016 to 2020, she served on the board of the anti-trans group, Women's Liberation Front. A supporter of radical feminism, she is an advocate for sex based women's rights.In November 2021, she published "The Abolition of Sex: How the 'Transgender' Agenda Harms Women and Girls". She currently serves as President of the U.S. chapter of Women’s Declaration International (WDI), which seeks to promote the Declaration on Women's Sex-Based Rights. She served on the board of the Women's Liberation Front from 2016 to 2020. Dansky is also an attorney with a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University, and an extensive background in criminal justice law and policy.[1]

Education

Dansky received a BA from Johns Hopkins University and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.[2]

Career

Dansky was the executive director of the Stanford Criminal Justice Center.[3]

In 2014, Dansky authored the ACLU study War Comes Home: The Excessive Militarization of American Policing which concluded that the increasing application of military tactics and weapons by American police was unnecessarily putting civilians at risk of injury and death.[4] [5] [6] [7]

From 2016 to 2020, Dansky served on the board of the Women's Liberation Front.[8] She has appeared on Tucker Carlson's Fox program to discuss her views.[9]

In 2021, Dansky authored the book The Abolition of Sex: How the 'Transgender' Agenda Harms Women and Girls.[10]

In 2023, Dansky published The Reckoning: How the Democrats and the Left Betrayed Women and Girls.[11]

Dansky is the current president of the American chapter of Women's Declaration International.[12]

Personal life

Dansky is a Shambhala International certified meditation instructor.[13]
