Kameshwar Nath Singh (born 1 January 1958) is an Indian Academician and Professor. He currently serves as Vice Chancellor of the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya.[1] He also served as Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University from March 2018 to April 2021.He contributed to environmental studies, regional development, and value education during his academic career. He has served as the Head of the Department of Geography and was the founding Director of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Research Foundation. Prof. Singh has supervised twenty Ph.D. students and a post-doctoral fellow and has published over seventy research papers, policy papers, and seventeen books.[2] [3] [4]
He did graduation, post-graduation, and Ph.D. from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. He was awarded the best geographer award by Deccan Geographical Society of India, Pune in year 2014.[5]
