Kala Mati Explained

Kala Mati is a Bengali drama film directed by Tapan Sinha^[1] based on the novel of Ramapada Chowdhury.^[2] This film was released on 6 June 1958 under the banner of Tas Pictures.^[3] This is the first Indian film on the life of natives in coalmine area.^[4]

Plot

The film based on the life of coal workers in a coal mine city.
