Kaisar Alpysbay is a Kazakhstani karateka. He won the silver medal in the men's kumite 60kg event at the 2023 World Karate Championships held in Budapest, Hungary.[1] [2] He also won the gold medal in his event at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China and the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey.
In 2021, Alpysbay lost his bronze medal match in the men's 60kg event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[3] In 2022, Alpysbay won the gold medal in the men's 60kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey.[4]
Alpysbay won the gold medal in the men's 60kg event at the 2023 Asian Karate Championships held in Malacca, Malaysia.[5] He also won the gold medal in his event at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. He defeated Abdullah Shaaban of Kuwait in his gold medal match. In the same month, he won the silver medal in the men's kumite 60kg event at the 2023 World Karate Championships held in Budapest, Hungary.[1] [2] In the final, he lost against Christos-Stefanos Xenos of Greece.[1] [2]
