Kai Alexander (born 7 June 1997) is a British actor. Alexander began his career with roles in the award winning series Catastrophe and later went on to appear in Pistol, notably playing Richard Branson. He is best known for his role as Sgt. William Quinn in the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks miniseries Masters of the Air. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Career

In 2017, he joined the cast of Channel 4 and Amazon comedy Catastrophe in the recurring role of Jeffrey, the on-screen child of characters portrayed by Ashley Jensen and Mark Bonnar.[5] He also played the lead in the BBC Original Drama Short, Oakwood.

In 2019, he reprised his role in the fourth and final season of Catastrophe which was released in 2019.[6] [7] He also joined the cast of The Stranger, a Netflix adaptation of the novel by Harlan Coben.[8] [9]

In 2022, he portrayed Richard Branson, in the Danny Boyle miniseries, Pistol created by Craig Pearce for FX, which follows the rise of the Sex Pistols.[10]

In 2024, he played Sgt. William Quinn in the Apple TV+ miniseries, Masters of the Air from Gary Goetzman, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. [1] [10] [11] [12] He also joined the cast of Scott Frank's upcoming English adaptation of Jussi Adler-Olsen's Department Q.
