Kaag en Braassem (in Dutch; Flemish pronounced as /ˌkaːx ʔɛn ˈbraːsəm/) is a municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. It was formed on 1 January 2009, through the merger of Alkemade and Jacobswoude.
