Kęszyca Leśna is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Międzyrzecz, within Międzyrzecz County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[2] It lies approximately 11km (07miles) south-west of Międzyrzecz, 50NaN0 west of Nietoperek, just west of Kęszyca, by the Kęszyca Lake.[3] [4] It was a location of the Soviet military garrison, which left in 1993, and since 1994 it is an independent populated place.[5] thumb|right|A soviet monument to a communications soldier
