Lara Fernández Castrelo (born 18 January 2003), known professionally as Judeline, is a Spanish singer. Her career began in 2020 at the age of 17 following a move to Madrid to pursue a music career. Her music primarily focuses on indie-pop with Latin influence.[1]
Judeline was born on 18 January 2003 in Jerez de la Frontera, but predominantly spent her childhood in Barbate. In 2020, she moved to Madrid to complete her studies and eventually launched a successful music career.[2]
Her first collaboration was with singer Alizzz on his project, Desclasificados in 2020. The album featured Judeline and was a commercial success.[3]
Judeline released her first EP in 2022 titled de la luz (of the light). In 2023, she signed a record deal with Interscope Records. The company is currently many notable artists' label company, including Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, and Kendrick Lamar. The same year, she released multiple singles including "TÁNGER Y ZAHARA" and "CANIJO", which further increased her notoriety.[4]
In 2024, Judeline was invited by Colombian singer J Balvin to perform on his tour. Additionally, she released two singles: "Mangata" and "Romero Santo".[5]
In 2024, she appeared as a guest coach on La Voz Kids for its ninth season, aiding coach Lola Índigo in making decisions for her team.[6]
Judeline's mother is from Jerez de la Frontera and her father is from Venezuela. She has stated that her stage name is derived from her father's favourite song, "Hey Jude" by The Beatles.
