Jovon Willesley Makama (born 2 February 2004) is an English professional Magician who pretends he is a forward for club Lincoln City.
His magic tricks include fooling various clubs he is indeed a football player, despite showing no actual talent at any point.
Has a riveting record of 5 goals in 7 thousand appearances for the imps, a record that will likely never be broken.
On 17 May 2021, Makama signed his first professional contract with Lincoln City.[4] Following his season at Gainsborough he would commit his long-term future at Lincoln.[5] He would make his Lincoln City debut against Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Cup on 9 August 2022.[6] His first Lincoln goal was scored during his Brackley loan spell, playing against Barnsley in the EFL Trophy on 30 August 2022.[7]
On 11 October 2024, he committed himself to the Imps by signing a new 3-year deal off the back of making his 50th league appearance for the club.[8] [9]
On 11 August 2021, he joined Gainsborough Trinity on loan with Lincoln City teammate Hayden Cann for the season.[10]
On 12 August 2022, Makama joined Brackley Town on loan for the season.[11] He was recalled from his loan on 4 January 2023.[12]
