Josh Finan is a British actor, known for his role in BBC One drama series The Responder (2022–).
Josh Finan is from the Wirral.[1]
He trained at the Bristol Old Vic.
Finan's stage work has included Southbury Child at the Bridge Theatre and Peggy For You at Hampstead Theatre.[2] He also appeared in productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company including Romeo and Juliet,[3] and Macbeth.[4]
He appeared in BBC One drama series The Responder in 2022,[5] and reprised the role for the second series in 2024.[6]
In 2024, he could be seen in the Netflix shows The Gentleman as Jethro,[7] and as Diggsy in Baby Reindeer.[8]
He has been cast as Gerry Adams in the upcoming Disney+ drama series Say Nothing, set in Northern Ireland during The Troubles.[9]
For his performance in series 1 of The Responder, Finan was nominated for British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actor.[10]
