Josef Effenberger (18 October 1901 – 11 November 1983) was a Czechoslovak gymnast who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics.[1] Additionally, he competed at both the 1926 and 1930, helping his team to gold both times, winning silver in the all-around combined exercises in 1926.

Effenberger was born in Prague on 18 October 1901. He died there on 11 November 1983, at the age of 82.
