The Jordan River (Aboriginal: kuta linah)[2] is a perennial river located in the Midlands region of Tasmania, Australia.
The Jordan River rises in Lake Tiberias below Mount Anstey, south of the settlement of, near . The river flows generally north, then west by south, joined by eight minor tributaries and passes by before reaching its mouth at Herdsman's Cove and emptying into the Derwent River near .[3] [4] The river descends over its 111km (69miles) course.[1]
