John Scott (1920s footballer) explained

John Scott MM (born 1889) was a Scottish footballer whose regular position was wing half.[1] Born in Wishaw or Motherwell, he played for Hamilton Academical,[2] Bradford Park Avenue, Manchester United and St Mirren.[3] [4] Scott was awarded a Military Medal during the First World War.[5]
