John Scott (1920s footballer) explained

John Scott MM (born 1889) was a Scottish footballer whose regular position was wing half.^[1] Born in Wishaw or Motherwell, he played for Hamilton Academical,^[2] Bradford Park Avenue, Manchester United and St Mirren.^{[3] [4]} Scott was awarded a Military Medal during the First World War.^[5]
