John Saban (born December 19, 1928)[2] is an American football player.

Life and career

Saban was the brother of Lou Saban,[3] a football coach at Case Tech.[4] [5] He was a marine during World War II.[6]

Saban played for the Xavier Musketeers football team from 1948 to 1951. The next year, he was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 30th round of the 1952 NFL Draft;[7] he did not make the final roster.
