John Edwin Davenport (April 28, 1928 – July 24, 2024) was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives.
Davenport was born on April 28, 1928. He attended the University of North Carolina and the University of North Carolina School of Law. Davenport served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 1973 to 1979. He died on July 24, 2024, at the age of 96.[1]
