John Donald Lamontagne^[1] (born) is a United States Air Force lieutenant general who serves as the deputy commander of the United States Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa. He previously served as the chief of staff of the United States European Command.^{[2] [3] [4] [5] [6]}

In July 2024, Lamontagne was nominated for promotion to general and assignment as the commander of Air Mobility Command.^{[7] [8]}
