Joanne Adamson Explained
Joanne Adamson OBE (born 1967) is a British diplomat. She is Deputy Special Representative and Deputy Head in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Education
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Cambridge, and a Master's degree in public administration from Harvard University.
Career
She graduated from University of Cambridge, and Harvard University. From 2011 to 2013, she was Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament.[6] From 2014 to 2016, she was Ambassador for the United Kingdom to Mali and Niger.
From 2018 to 2021, she was Deputy Special Representative for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA)
